What is the MPC? 

The School of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) hosts a range of media and multimedia production activities within its Multimedia Production Centre (MPC) This facility combines teaching, research and production activities in a state-of-the-art environment giving access to leading edge technologies and the support of highly skilled technical staff.

What does the MPC do?

• It supports the multimedia production elements of academic programmes and research in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences
• It enables the generation of income to benefit the University, to enhance the Centre’s facilities and to extend its partnerships.
• It supports the development of media and IT services in the University, where appropriate resources are made available. Currently this also involves providing support for Apple Macintosh facilities University wide.
