What can you do in the PC Studios?
- Practical workshop tasks for course modules requiring an MS-Windows PC connected to the UEL network using the same standard UEL desktop available in Learning Resource Centres.
In addition you can: - Scan pictures.
- Create web pages with Macromedia Dreamweaver.
- Make web animations with Macromedia Flash
- Create and edit vector graphics with Adobe Illustrator
- Create and edit bitmap graphics with Adobe Phtotshop
- Build moving image projects with Macromedia Director
- Use Maya to create 3-dimensional worlds, objects and animations
- Write files to CDs and DVDs with Nero Express
Anything else I should know?
- All currently registered students will be automatically allocated a log-in ID to use all open access PCs connected to the UEL network. The procedure for your first-time log-in will have been explained during the student induction process.
- The PCs in the Multimedia Production Centre feature the same set of software, with the exception that Maya is currently only available in WB.1.10
